I'll be taking members of one family on a bespoke beachcomb of Felixstowe beach in the October half-term. Although this might seem like an unusual time of year for a beachcomb, the rougher weather will increase the treasures to be found.

Felixstowe is a fabulous location for beachcombing, full of shells, driftwood, egg cases, mermaid’s purses and, for the patient hunter, fossil sharks’ teeth. And even if you don’t find sharks’ teeth, you’ll have learnt all the tips and tricks for your next visit!
