I'll be taking members of one family on a bespoke beachcomb of Sizewell beach to celebrate a birthday. Although this might seem like an unusual time of year for a beachcomb, the rougher weather will increase the treasures to be found.

Sizewell beachcombs last two hours, starting with the amazing shingle plants. We then walk south to hunt for 2-3 million year old pieces of coralline crag, full of fossils. The marram grass at the back of the beach is great for trapping natural treasures. And more treasures are always found as we beachcomb back to our starting point!
